Rob and Colleen were excellent landlords - maintencance issues I had were addressed in less than 24 hours and they knew me by name. Very quiet and nice location the yellow, blue, red bus stop is 2 blocks away, grocery store is 3 blocks away and north quad is like 4 blocks away . perfect for engineering students

However, I was pleasantly surprised by how much care and effort they put in for the benefit of their residents. For example, here is an excerpt from one of the emails Rob sent in October of 2020- To help reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission, we have installed a UV-C sanitizer in the laundry above the mailboxes. DO NOT TOUCH THIS UNIT The capacity of the sanitizer will exchange the air in the laundry room every ten minutes. This means that any biological air contamination will be subjected to this Ultra Violet light and the air will be sterilized. So, any contamination level will drop by a factor of a thousand every 100 minutes two to the tenth power , a factor of a million every 200 minutes, and so on……. But this does not eliminate the need to wear a mask. Who would have guessed Rob was a Material Science professor at UofI In addition, when I contracted Covid, Rob and Colleen both gave me a call asking me if I needed anything and if there was some way they could help. This was very nice of them and I don't think I could have expected a call like that from a larger company. Rob and Colleen always take the extra step to make sure that their residents are healthy and are feeling well and I trust them to take care of their residents through the worst of times. I highly recommend them to anyone

Don't even need a car because 5 buslines service our block. American grocery store 3 blocks away. Asian grocery store across the street. Middle Eastern and East European grocery store 3 blocks away. UI campus two blocks away. Select cool parts of big city life but no traffic! Landlord is a genuine person, no hype. That in itself is rare. He works with us and also expects us to work with him. Fixes things promptly. There is no commercialized atmosphere imbuing the space. It is just a place where you can live and feel at home. You always expect that, but often you can't get it in this town.

They are very comfortable, very quiet, well-made and well-taken care of. The landlord does not consider them luxury apartments and certainly doesn't charge luxury prices. Most of the people who have seen mine come in and say "Gosh, this is really nice!" They're right, it really is!
